Another great wine name from these folks.

We had this as one of the 7 wines we went through with friends at a porch get-together at our house this weekend. I guess we successfully cleared out some cellar space for our upcoming Pac NW wine trip.

Decanted for 15 minutes before pouring. Transparent light ruby color. Nice, clean cherry fruit with some spiciness, but what made this interesting was the streak of minerality that permeated the whole thing from entry to finish. Acidity suggests it may go well with summer BBQ fare. A different wine, sitting on the fence between old and new world styles. 13.5% alc. Paid $15 for it at Whole Foods. FWIW, WS said 84 -- drink to '08. I'd say probably better earlier rather than later in that time frame.

I had this about a month back. I loved it. I'd also suggest drinking in younger than older, while the fruit is bright and fun. Frustratingly, I've only once seen this for sale near me.
