Now here's a keeper! Dark ruby/purple. Initial yeasty nose that blew off revealing spice and smoky plum. Rich rhone flavors of plum, earth, spice and smoke and a mid palate note of milk chocolate. Silky mouth feel and a long finish. Great buy at $10.99 make this a good QPR. Really delicious! 14%Alc/vol.

Here's the makeup of this wine.
Grenache (50-60%)
Syrah (12-15%)
Mourvèdre
Cinsault
Cournoise
Carignan

Right up my alley....... If I can find this juice I'll give it a try. Thanks for the info, Drew!

BTW, this wine sorta reminds me of the '98 Ch. De La Negly, Coteaux du Languedoc, only more fruit forward and a little more complex...going back for a case.

Popped my last bottle the other night and it's singing loudly. Beautiful sweet, funky, earthy, syrah flavors. Very smooth and delicious...I do love good CDR and CDP.
