1998 Callaway "Special Collection" Viognier, 3000 cases, $14 retail. This is damn nice wine! The wine screams peaches and honeysuckle on the nose and palate.
Decent acidity and NO OAK -- yippee, some real fruit for a change. This is case buy material. Callaway is one of the largest growers of Viognier in CA - a grand
total of 21 acres..... Drink over the next 6 months to a year.
