Aroma of a chocolate raisin bar, great color (deep ruby) raisin and chocolate on the palate, with a touch of pepper. Claims 14% alcohol, but doesn't feel like it, although I did not finish this whole bottle...

In all, a nice wine until the finish--to weak there for the $23.00 price tag.

Without a good finish, a wine just doesn't cut it in my palate.

That is usually a very sound house.

As I said, in all, a nice wine. But I judge a wine more on its finish than anything else. Even if all goes well, a light finish makes me wonder if all really isn't well, certainly not balanced, since finish is part of the balance.
