- dananne - 11-07-2004 36% Mourvedre, 34% Syrah, and 30% Grenache. Garnet-colored in the glass. Nose of red fruits. Flavors of same with red spices and red clay coming on late. Still a bit prickly with tannins. I like Bonny Doon, so I keep buying Grahm's Cigare Volant wines even though I find as good or better P/Q with CdP. Paid $26 locally. 14.5% alc. FWIW, WS gave it an 85; RP an 87. - Drew - 11-08-2004 Love Bonny Doon wines but I never thought the Le Cigare Volant was worth the $$. Drew |
