A California Shiraz? Popped one tonight while trimming the tree. Closed tighter than WW at a Chardonnay auction to benefit and promote the W.W.L.A.(White Wine Lovers of America). Subdued, but nice, nose of black fruit and brown sugar. Dark ruby with purple highlights, not opaque. Plum and other dark fruit mingle with brown sugar and spice (cloves and cinammon) but it's really restrained. Medium length tannic finish. Seems to be there and in balance, but needs a few years to strut it's stuff. 13.7% Alc/vol. $16

Used to donate heavily to the W.W.L.A until I discovered it was Lovers instead of Leavers. WW
