Pale golden straw in color, pretty.

Reserved nose (must have been my hotel washroom glasses....hey when in Berkeley....). But the wine is pretty good. I admit that I was looking for more in this bottle. Good taste of lemon, leom peel, white peach, and a good amount of minterals. Feels more like a kabinett with a great amount of acidity. Very refreshing. Very nice. $19.99 but there are better at this price. Maybe it was the glass.....

Just noticed your note, Engineer. I paid the same price for the 2002 vintage that you paid for the 2005 and thought it was delightful. It may be the hotel glasses or it may be too youthful. Lemon, peach and apricot were what I found in the 2002. I will try to get some of the 2005 vintage to try.

WOW, I think it was a combination of the glasses and the temperature (cooled using the air condition versus ice water as there was no ice bucket... so a bit warm??).

I really thought that it was a very good bottle but usually it is a very good bottle so for the 05 I was probably expecting more. It is definitely worth the try....next time I will bring an "O" with me
