- TheEngineer - 09-17-2008 I figured the name would get you It's from the Czech Republic. A souvenier bottle from a good friend Great colour light golden with hint of green. Looks German so far Nose has some sulfur match in it and then some mild cheese, funky, but that blew off quickly. THen it nosed a bit like an overripe mersault, and then that blew off and the mild cheese returned. Some rustic notes, bits of sweet fruit. On the palate, this is a dry riesling (just hint of sweetness). Good acidity, light and a bit weird but still a decent if unique drink. Could not possible mistake this for an Alsace or German riesling. |
