Infantile alert!

Had this last night with a Singaporean staple of poached chicken and rice (which as bland as that sounds, actually has a number of sauces of the spicy, giner, green onions, etc variety...good eating trust me). Perfect match, but yes terribly young . Vibrant nose, bight, lively, citrus, peach, rinds, hint of spices. On palate, while great fruit the acidity and minerality comes through strong. Bright vibrant flavours of apples, citrus rind, and some peach. Nicely balanced but just a touch lacking in elegance. The weight of the wine, even with the acidity was perhaps a bit too heavy whereas the other JJ nailed this vintage cold. That was worth the small premium on this guy.

Which JJ nailed it cold?

Sorry, that would be JJ Prum . I've had several of their 05's from kabinetts to Auslese, and a number of their vineyards and they were all very very nice.
