1998 Domaines Schlumberger, Pinot Blanc, Vin D'Alsace ($11). Very nice pinot blanc. Still fresh and vibrant at age three. Lovely floral notes on the nose, and nutty fruit upfront. Nice weight (12.5% alcohol) and fruity complxity across the palate. Very pleasant finish. Matched with grillpanned porkchops and lima beans. Every once and a awhile a SW hits the spot.
