Had this with the appetizer at Upstream Restaurant, Charlotte, NC (baby greens with champagne vinaigrette). Medium size rim of white froth. Steady stream of bubbles in the flute. Color was pale coral or salmon (eye of the partridge perhaps). Flavors of rose hips and pomegranates--no detectable cherries or raspberries, etc. Lots of tingle on the tongue. Very drying on the palate. Kept bubbles throughout dinner. Can't say I was very taken with it, but I'm hard to please with sparkling wines.
