- Drew - 12-21-2001 I thought Hotwine had posted on this but couldn't find it. Pale straw color. Citrus and apple scents. Full flavored with grapefruit and green apple flavors with a looooong finish. 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir. 12% Alc/vol. A delicious Methode Champenoise for $12 Drew - hotwine - 12-21-2001 Nope, that's one that I missed. Sounds very nice. - Drew - 12-21-2001 Found it, it was Botafogo and Bucko. http://www.wines.com/ubb2/Forum20/HTML/000101.html Drew - Bucko - 12-21-2001 I'm innocent -- I was under the influence -- I did not have relations with that bottle. Slick Willie - hotwine - 12-21-2001 It's hard to believe that Monica turned 28 this week. Seems like only yesterday that she was crawling around the White House on her hands and knees..... - Drew - 01-01-2002 Popped the Blancs de Noir tonight. Beautiful mousse, medium to small bubbles. Richly flavored with a long finish. Very nice for $13. Paired with Maryland Crab Cakes, salad and sauteed mixed veggies with garlic. A match made in Maryland. Drew - ShortWiner - 06-18-2003 Took the advice of many on this board and had a bottle of this stuff (the blend) on the Cape, along with a beach and a sunset and little crab sushi. Lovely. Thanks again, guys. - Georgie - 06-18-2003 Thanks, Hotsie. First out loud laugh I've had all day! |
