Greetings, I have here a bottle of a vintage 1982 Cuvee Dom Perignon stating on the bottle that it is as I read it from the bottle... Appellation d" Origine Controlee. Moet et Chandon a Epernay. The bottle even has some numbers on it: 8.21214. I am trying to find more about this particular vintage and perhaps give me some insight. Any takers?

Some information for you (from the k&l wine site

96 points Robert Parker (12/94) 93 points Wine Spectator: "Seductive and wonderfully balanced, crisp yet it caresses the palate. Has a very complex toasted bread and buttery croissant character along with some nutmeg, spice, chocolate and vanilla notes..." (10/95)

They are listing for $250 per bottle but generally it is not likely that you will be able to get retail price for a single bottle and especially one that you cannot demonstrate the storage conditions over the years. Good luck to you and hope this helped.

Thank you for that information. I really do appreciate that. I think my questions have been answered. It is awesome to know that there is so much more that goes into wines than mere taste. Thanks again.

I'm definitely newbie material but there are many here that are VERY experienced. Come back and come back often!
