I will be opening a 1986 Taittinger Collection bottle of bubbly on NYE. Saved it from my trip to Reims in '95. What is the current value? I can't remember what I paid in '95.

Amongst serious Champagne drinkers, Taittinger's Collection is generally considered to be overpriced (the premium being merely for a rather tacky plastic casing). Furthermore, very few Champagnes gain in price (the exceptions being Bollinger, Krug, Dom Perignon and Cristal). Sorry, but it's best to drink it and let happy memories of your visit enhance the enjoyment, rather than any notion of increased value.
