As our celebration bubbly after supper of oak-grilled NY strips, black-eyed peas, wild rice and green salad (for which we paired an '01 Ch. Talbot San Julien - old TNs apply). This stuff has an unusual bronzy color, on the brink of being dismissed for its novelty; but good mousse and very pleasant on the palate, can actually taste the fruit; clean finish; quickly grows on us. Helped us get to 11:30 local before crawling to bed. $22.99 at Costco, worth stashing a few away.
