I'm new to this site, but I'm looking for suggestions.Having limited experience with top Champagnes ( Dom 96 and 98 and Taittinger Comtes De Champagne 95, which we loved) I need one for an anniversary. I recently had a bottle of Bollinger brut and it had what I've read as a "slightly oxidized flavor" I call it a mature flavor, my wife calls it an "old" flavor. This would be a flavor I need to avoid. Our favorite NV wines are Mumm Cordon Rouge and also J brut from Calif and Argyle from Oregon( our everyday sparkler). Would this be enough info for a suggestion? I have concidered the Krug and possibly Cristal and Feuillatte Palms D'Or Rose and others.

Thanks.

Hi Hivnerjc, and welcome to the Wine Board. If you go way back (there is a "Go" botton on the top of this tead) you will find a wealth of information.
