NV Mumm Cuvee Napa Brut Prestige ($20 but availble for $5 less elsewhere). Originally bought this for New Years Eve '02 but it somehow fell through the crack. So we made it our 40th anniversary wine and drank it ice cold on Sunday morning and afternoon. It did the job. It is a blend of pinot noir, chardonnay, petite meunier, and oak. Albeit the oak was complementary and not overwhelming. It did have nice red fruit and apple smells and tastes, and also a pronounced yeasty overtone. Not the best bubbly nor the worst by a long shot. Like I said, it got the job done.
