This bottle was purchased way back in 2002, fresh off the boat so we were guessing a disgorge date hopefully somewhere between 1999 and 2000?? For a Holy hell high price of $82. That was a lot of money back then forme and my friend who actually purchased this bottle and had been saving it...but then forgot about it....
All the right reasons to like Krug and this one definitely showed its again, with a pretty hazelnut all over the nose and palate, but a striking focus on the acidity, not as dense as some of the other Krugs that I've had but I think time has mellowed this one. Nice
