50% Monastrell, 20% Merlot, 10% Tempranillo, 10% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. A very nice wine with moderate complexity showing black and red fruit, chocolate, leather and earth flavors. The wine changed constantly throughout several hours of sippin displaying the different characteristics of each varietal. Saved a little for the next day to see how it would hold up but alas it is a drink me all when you open wine. 13.5%Alc/vol. $8.50

drew: just noticed my regular shop has this and is selling at $6.99 per. would you say it's a no-brainer to try at that price?

The '01 of this wine tasted somewhat like an old standby of mine, Vina Alarba, but I have not tried the '03. Saw some discounted for $5.99 locally -- think I'll pick up a bottle or two. Thanks for the note.

It's worth $6 as a quaffer. Don't expect more.

Yup, what he said....good price.
