12.5 % alcohol
Imported by Turner Wines, Morrisville, NC
$9.99 (has been offered by the case or as sale price as low as $8.49)
Very dark purple color when first poured. More a crimson-purple as the glass empties.
Dark fruit nose. Dark berries, mainly blackberries on the palate. Almost a sweet berry taste. Rich and mellow. This is a real find at under $10 price and would be a good wedding or party wine or good for picnics, beach or barbeque. Would go with most red eats or even roast chicken or try with Spanish cheese like Manchego. A bit of a fruit bomb but just very, very likable and not heavy on the alcohol.
