I was given a bottle of red wine "Baron De Lajoyosa Gran Reserva 1996. The only thing I can find out about it online is in another language. Can anyone tell me if this is a good wine or just an average priced dinner wine ?

Hi Play, and welcome to the Wine Board. Your wine should be an enjoyable one, but not either of great value or worthy of long time aging. It is about 50% Grenache, and 30% Tempranillo, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It will marry up nicely with a wide variety of foods, particularly grilled stuff.
