This blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon is a surprising wine for the bucks. A nose as big as W.C. Fields' with black currant and pipe tobacco, I would have guessed the percentage of Cab to be higher. Good depth of fruit on the palate, with just a little zing at the jawline for interest on the finish. From Toledo, with 12.5% abv, a good QPR at only $8.99. An excellent barbecue wine.
