A delicious quaffer for a good price. Lots of bright fruit on the nose and palate--cherries, plums, pomegranates. There's enough oak for structure, but it is not overwhelming to me. I'll have this one in an hour or so with Beef Goulash on egg noodles. 13.5% Alc, $9 (Sendiks in Mequon)

This is the Crianza, right? I've had the '98 and the '00 (inadvertant vintage skips). I have a bottle or two of the '02. Thanks for the note. This is very widely available in these parts, but I've had mixed success with the two previous ones. This sounds like it may be a bit better.
