Popped another one last night after having had a large mid-day meal. First thought it would just be a quaffer, but ended up having it with turkey breast sandwiches on fresh baguette with mayo and romaine. Very, very nice. One of those reliable wines.

Lovely Frau picked up a case at Spec's in Houston while antiquing a couple of weeks ago, and we had a bottle tonight with leftover cedar-plank salmon with hollandaise sauce, fresh asparagus, oven fried spuds, corn on the cob. (Had a Rossignole Sancerre last night with the salmon, which I've posted on before.) The ol' Michel Lynch is still hangin' in there, guys. And so's the price, at about $9. Was concerned that a '98 would be fading by now, but not to worry - all previous descriptors still apply.
