The term applied to the naturally fermented juice of the grape. True wine produced from grapes can be divided into three categories: Still wines – standard table wines (red, white, rosé) Sparkling wines – Champagne, Spumante, etc. Fortified wines – Sherry, Port, Madeira, etc. to which brandy has been added.
