Bilateral Cordons


The horizontal growth from the trunk growing in either direction on a trellis is called the cordon. Bilateral Cordons is a method of trellising used in many California vineyards where there are two cordons growing horizontally off the trunk at a specific height determined usually by the vineyards master gardener.
