DOCG


In Italy, the term DOCG stands for Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita, and is used to identify the best growing areas of Italy. These wines are subject to all of the regulations applied to the DOC wines and additionally are subjected to a strict chemical analysis and must be approved by a panel of experts.
