Verband Deutscher Prädikatswein Versteigerer is an association of German wineries (all estate bottlers) who are concerned with maintaining a high quality. On their labels you will fin d an eagle with grapes forming its breast with the letters of the organization surrounding it. This is a symbol for superior wines.
