a Wines.com VIP "My Tastes" Site Member promotion
For the next 12 months, Wines.com wants to reward our VIP “My Tastes” Site Members for contributing to the site with reviews of wines they enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. For every 20 wines you review Wines.com will say thanks by sending you a Personalized bottle of wine (personal-labeled) - valued at between $25 and $50 a bottle!
What could be easier than taking a moment to give a quick-but-fair review of a wine you've just sampled or enjoyed recently?
The process only takes a few moments. VIP “My Tastes” Site Members must be logged in to complete a review. If you haven't yet created an account, you may do so here. Once a site member is logged-in, simply look below the thumbnail image located on any wine detail summary page to find the Review link. Click the link to view a popup form. Complete the form and submit to collect another review.
You can keep track of all your reviews by visiting your account settings area whenever logged-in.
Once you've collected 20 reviews, you're ready to be rewarded. You alert the Wines.com team that your account has reached 20 reviews and we'll contact you to say thanks and confirm your ship-to address and get your information to prepare your Personalized bottle.
And remember you can keep on reviewing up to 500 total!
The Wines.com team will select from wines priced between $25 and $50 and ship them to our reward recipients via UPS ground delivery. We don't know the names of these wines at this time. However, we'll make certain to base the selections on truly well-reviewed wines, either by the Wines.com team or other VIP “My Tastes” Site Members. Please review the promotion rules below to learn more.
An acceptable sample review might look like the following: Please note: the name of the wine you're reviewing is automatically collected when you click the "Review" link for a particular wine. Also, a drop-down field is provided for assigning a rating to the wine (fair, good, excellent).
The Grgich Hills Estate, 2007 Estate Grown Chardonnay really helped to make my party a complete success! We served it with grilled shrimp and scallops and of course we started all that off by serving brie with some wonderful toasted pita wafers. My guests all raved about the wine (and the food too, yeah!). My best friend Sara noted that she’d found the wine to exhibit wonderful aromas of ripe peach, mango and tropical flowers; with a slight note of minerality. I added that the finish was smooth and never too buttery. I plan on revisiting this and trying other Grgich offerings next weekend. Personally recommend enjoying it with grilled shrimp and scallops – great with ours d'oeuvres too.
